About the Mexico Mission
MEXICO 2024
Transform your life in a few days.
The 2024 Mexico trip will be one of the most fulfilling and exciting trips ever. It is a 3 to 5-day trip where you will cry, laugh, work, share, and build deep relationships. We highly recommend the 5-day trip.
We will build homes for the poorest of the poor and much more during the trip. We will work with needy families and share the love of God. There will be great food, housing, fellowship, and lots of tacos. We will assist you in raising the funds for the trip, and we have never had anyone not rise to the challenge.
The trip is sponsored by Youth with a Mission, which is the largest mission organization in the world. YWAM was founded in 1960 and has over 30,000 full-time staff. We have trained over 5 million part-time participants.
When: 5-day trip - August 2-6 | 3-day trip - August 2-4
Where: San Antonio Del Mar, Mexico

Why: To show the compassion of Christ to the hurting

Cost: Will include air fare to San Diego, ground fees and help for building the homes. Email for more details.
TRIP TOTAL COSTS
Reservation fee (first come, first serve): $25 per adult (16+), $10 per child
5-day trip
Adults (13 and up): $600 for homes + $589 ground fees
Kids 3-12: $600 for homes + $440 ground fees
Kids under 3: free
3-day trip
Adults (13 and up): $600 for homes + $459 ground fees
Kids 3-12: $600 for homes + $310 ground fees
Kids under 3: free
Important note: When donors see that $600 of your funds goes directly to a home for a needy family, they will be excited to give you the rest you need.
Airfare: $200-$400 (get tickets ASAP for lower costs)
PASSPORT: Each participant will need a passport to cross the border. Get it ASAP. (Processing for new passports could take up to eight weeks.)
WHAT TO BRING: We will email you the list in plenty of time.
ITINERARY
Friday: Early flight to San Diego, go to the YWAM base, then a day of orientation, relaxation and fun.
Saturday, Sunday: Building homes and relaxing at the YWAM San Antonio Del Mar Center
Monday: Working with immigrants, tacos, ice cream, shopping, a beach party and baptisms
Tuesday: packing, tour of playas, sit down restaurant, head to San Diego, depart after 6 p.m.
* People participating in the 3-day trip will leave Mexico late Sunday afternoon.

We have found that when you raise the $600 for the home build, it makes it easy to raise the whole amount. Your family and friends will be glad to help because of the big goal.

SHORT SENTENCE ON WHAT GOD HAS BEEN DOING IN YOUR LIFE
I /we have some exciting news. I/we are going to make God’s amazing love known by helping needy families living in horrible conditions in Mexico.
I/we and a dynamic team of volunteers are going on outreach to Tijuana, Mexico on Friday, August 2-6 to build homes for people living under torn tarps and in very despicable conditions. They are some of the poorest of the poor.
I/we are working with Youth with a Mission San/Diego Baja who have built over 7,500 homes in Mexico since 1990 involving over 150,000 volunteers.
Every home build creates a powerful transformation for the recipients and every single volunteer. Each of the homes cost around $12,000 to build which includes a furniture package. We are hoping to build at least two-five homes, bring toys and give them $600 for the shopping trip of their life.
It will cost $200-$400 each for transportation from Denver to San Diego and about $600 for the ground fees. Every participant is raising $600 each to go toward the cost of building the homes. I/we will need about $1400-$1600, which will go toward this labor of love. This estimate is dependent on how early you purchase air fare.

I/we are trusting God to provide the full amount and more to help others. Anything extra you send will go toward more homes, furniture packages and groceries.
